In a move that has left many scratching their heads, the National Education Union (NEU) has passed a historic motion to appoint a drag queen as Head Teacher in every British school.

According to sources within the NEU, the motion was passed with overwhelming support from members who believe that it is high time that the education system is overhauled to reflect the diverse and inclusive nature of modern British society.

In a statement released after the motion was passed, the NEU said: “We believe that appointing a drag queen as Head Teacher in every British school will send a powerful message of acceptance and inclusivity to young people across the country. This is about creating a safe and welcoming environment where all students can thrive.”

While the move has been met with applause from some quarters, it has also drawn criticism from others who argue that it is a step too far in the pursuit of political correctness.

Speaking to the Upper Lip, one concerned parent said: “I don’t have anything against drag queens per se, but I don’t think they are necessarily the best people to be in charge of running a school. There are plenty of qualified educators out there who would be much better suited to the role.”

Despite these concerns, the NEU remains steadfast in its commitment to appointing drag queens as Head Teachers, and has already begun the process of identifying potential candidates.

It remains to be seen how this bold move will play out in practice, but one thing is for sure: the British education system will never be the same again.
